Hey Everyone! Hope your summer is ending on a high note! I'm not a member of his church, but I have been an "online member" of John Hannah's church for the past couple of years. I love his energetic preaching and passion for the gospel. At the beginning of this year, he was encouraging his church to start proclaiming that 2023 would be a "record-breaking year". I grabbed hold of that word and have been decreeing, praying, and standing on that statement. In addition to all of what's already happened this year, God broke a new record in my life last week: I was able to preach internationally for the first time! God opened the door for me to minister at a Rwandan youth conference to over 120 youth! And 17 were saved! Truly a God moment.

Please keep Pastors Brasius and Ebenezer Christian Discipleship Church in your prayers!

Below I've posted the recorded message that God gave me to share with the young people. **I'm trusting that my next international speaking request will be in person!**

How's it going? I hope you've been doing well during this HOT summer!

I have been busy with work, family, and ministry assignments. But you have been on my mind and in my prayers.

This past Sunday, I was blessed to minister a message on living by faith. I've found that we often talk about living by faith, but many of us don't know what that looks like day to day.

Can I tell you it's super simple? Get ready for the notes!

All you have to do is:

Get God's Word

Believe God's Word

Live God's Word

That's it.

As simple as that list reads, I know that the Enemy fights hard to get us to miss one, two, or ALL of those steps! The devil knows that when we live our faith in Christ, we can do major damage to his kingdom. Our faith also allows us to fully become who God purposed us to be. Those dreams, visions, and destinies God has for us can only be tapped into when we believe His word toward us.

So, what's stopping you from living by faith? What lie has the devil told you that stopped you in your pursuit of God's plan for your life?

Don't believe the devil's lies! He tried it with Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11), so he's going to try it with us. Let's follow our Savior's example and combat the Enemy's lies with the Word of God!

I'll leave you with this:

Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world.

1 John 4:4

Let the word that you know, spark the belief in your heart that causes you to live out God's purpose for your life.

Be Blessed!

I hope you are well and enjoying the height of summer! I have been spending the last few days thinking through some of the ideas and projects I know I want to complete before the end of the year. Working on another season of the That's My Sister podcast, a YouTube series that I want to start recording, and getting my Howard Homecoming travel particulars nailed down are at the top of the list. 😉

I also have some prayer requests before the Lord, and He has some requests laid out on the table for me. I know it's my responsibility to do my part which will allow God to do His part to get it all to come together.

Isn't it great that we get to work together with God?

He doesn't take over and do everything with His awesome, fully powerful self. He gives us some of the responsibility and lets us take part in the miracle of our transformation into our purposed and destined selves.

No, it doesn't always feel great to walk out the process. There are plenty of times where I just wanted God to make everything happen while I sit back and do nothing. (In fact, it's the majority of the time.) However, I can't deny how the steps of faith I've taken, the valleys I've had to walk through, the challenges I've had to face head-on have improved my life and character in ways I never would have seen had God done it all for me.

I'm sure you have the same testimony.

So, let's keep up the good work! We have the privilege to work together with God! What better partner could we ask for?

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

James 2:17 NIV

One of my faves, Pastor John Hannah, preached about our role in the process this past Sunday - I've embedded it for you below. It's a great encouragement to keep doing the work!

Have a great day!
